TESTING FOR THE FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMISSION
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires manufacturers of most types of electrical and electronic products, to comply with the emission requirements as specified in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR47).
In general most products that do not incorporate Radio Transmitting devices can be certified without the need to file results with FCC. Testing however must be undertaken by an FCC listed test facility.
Products incorporating Radio Transmitters require filing with the FCC.
